Month 4 check in

So, it's almost April how are things going?
Well... like most resolutions I feel myself losing my hopeful attitude that things will be different this year.  But alas, I will still make a ton of resolutions next year too.
Here are my updates

1. Resolve to be joyful and look for the good - FAIL.  I need to add this as part of my journaling time.  I am not doing well at this at all.
2. Organize our house - I have made some progress.  But I am still no where near where I would like to be.  I discovered the glory of rolling clothes to make them more organized.  Pictures to come :)
3. Lose the baby weight :) - I still have 9 pounds and flab to go.  I am praying that as I lose the last few pounds this cellullite will leave with it.  I'm not sure how this works but pregnancy #2 left for more lasting effects on my body than number 1.
4. Grow spiritually- I have been pretty regular in my morning journaling time.  I have even been skipping my morning workouts some days and spending time in prayer.  This I am pleased by.  This month I am trying to work in more scripture memorization.  I am trying to incorporate this with my son too.
5. Develop a wardrobe, that doesn't look like a mommie's - This is a major fail.  And since I seem to have spent too much in other budget categories this month, shopping for accessories is way on the back burner.  But I do need to get creative with what I have, because I do have alot of clothes.
6. Learn to be more generous - Wow, I didn't remember that this was on my list.  Our church is doing a major generosity push right now, and we have committed to be more generous with our money.  I am not sure where this is going to come from, but I am trusting God to provide for this.
7. Learn to be a finisher (we'll see how long this blog lasts :)) - Well, before today I don't think I've posted on this blog for 2 months.  So I would say consistancy is not my strong point.

30 days to prebaby body challenge

So progress getting back to my prebaby weight is so.  I've lost 3 pounds in 2 months :/  But the good news is that I have lost inches.  I am only one inch away on my waist to being back to my prebaby size.  I still have 6 pounds to go, and I'd like to be done by the time that little nugget turns 6 months.  Enter: The 30 day prebaby challenge
I'm going to try to post more regularily about my progress.

What's involved in this challenge?
I'm going to try to workout (do something!) every day for the 30 days
I'm avoiding processed sugar
I'm avoiding processed carbs (I eat a gluten free diet but sometimes I let other sweets sneak in)
I'm trying to drink 100oz of water a day.  This I should be doing while breastfeeding anyway

READY? Go!

Today:
Today I did a workout from "Moms into fitness."  I love Lindsay Brin and she offers some of the best post-baby get in shape advice I have found.  The workout lasted 30 minutes and it was hard for me to finish.
I'm am fasting sugar right now for religious reasons, but I will admit that I cheated last night.  Today, I live in regret and hopefulness that I can get back on the sugar free wagon.
